Trial notes:

Coruba Run lead from Bettys Icon and Shine Alight. Shine Alight was off at the 400 metres and easily took the lead to win by three and a half lengths. She is a promising type with stacks of ability - an ideal Oaks filly for next season. She ran her last 800 metres in 56.6 with the last 400 metres in 27.7.

Kelvin Grove lead from Good Togo Washington and Excuse Forty Five. Good Togo Washington took the lead at the 500 metres to beat Excuse Forty Five by a length with Kelvin Gove battling into third.

Hanover Patch lead early. Henry Ducket won the heat from Oil Baron which ran his last half in 56.3. Jacks Wee Lass made ground well running his last 800 metres in 56.7.

Reginaldo lead early from Chay Bromac and The Showman. Winner Montecrengle settled fourth before improving quickly. He won easily with his ears pricked by three quarters of a length running his last 800 metres in 55.7.
