Which race would you most like to win in Southland?
The Southland Oaks as we love age group and fillies races. We got closest with Chicago Blues (3rd in 2010).

Which New Zealand race would you be most thrilled to win?
Obviously the New Zealand Cup. It's the biggest race (richest, history and public profile) but any of the major age group races would be great.

Which New Zealand trainer do you admire?
Barry
Purdon - his record in the big races is incredible especially given the size of his team.

What do you consider to be the biggest challenge facing harness racing?

Need to ensure stakes are distributed more fairly through a more equitable handicapping system. Also need a balance to attarct and retaining all branches of the industry - breeders, owners, licence holders and punters etc. Each group is needed and the interests of one group should not be promoted at the expense of the others.
