Idle Meadow - great.

Editor's note: Idle Meadow joined the Stratford stable as a four start maiden pacer in October 1993. Two starts later the Meadow Roydon five year old won his first race at Wyndham paying $27.45 and $8.30.

How many winners have you trained?
29 (End of the 2009-2010 season).

Biggest race you've won?
Kindergarten Stakes.

Editor's note: Stratford's win in this time honoured event was with Le Sol. The McArdle gelding recorded a time of 1-54.3 which was a Southland record for two year olds. The gelding was later transferred to the Purdon/Payne barn but Stratford was given a share in the talented gelding.

Highview Jude (Soky's Atom Rosewood Mistress).

Editor's note: Highview Jude was initially owned by Grant Gray and Stratford. She ran third in her first start before being sold to the Highlander's Syndicate and transferred to Murray Brown's stable. She went on to win nine races. She ran third in the 1999 Canterbury Breeders Stakes won by Tartan Lady.

How did you choose your racing colours?
Aquired them off the late Len Tilson.

Kindergarten Stakes. Did it last year!!

New Zealand Cup because it's why we train.

Which horse currently in your stable gets you up in the morning?
Two or three yearlings that we have just broken in. There's potential there.

Sorrento Bay (Courage Under Fire - Legacy Jaccka)

Mark Purdon because of his professionalism.
