How long have you been a trainer? What was your first winner? Editor's note: Idle Meadow joined the Stratford stable as a four start maiden pacer in October 1993. Two starts later the Meadow Roydon five year old won his first race at Wyndham paying $27.45 and $8.30. How many winners have you trained? Biggest race you've won? Editor's note: Stratford's win in this time honoured event was with Le Sol. The McArdle gelding recorded a time of 1-54.3 which was a Southland record for two year olds.
