Editors note: Bayfayana - by Roydon Albatross out of Squires Escort. Won her maiden race at Ascot Park 14th January 1998 by 2 ½ lengths - driven by Bryce Buchanan. Winning stake - $1,850. Bayfayana won 3 races in New Zealand from 14 starts when trained by Wayne Adams.

Editors note: First Glimpse was initially trained as a 2 year old by Sam Ballantyne and Peter Jones-He joined the Adams stable as a 3 year old and won 5 races that season.
