Best Dressed - Pretty Good.

Editor's note: Clark took over the training of the Saville Row mare, Best Dressed in September 1989.

She had won one race as a three year old for trainer PJ Holmes. He had instant succces, winning with her first up at the Invercargill meeting. It was also the start of a long and successful partnership with Brendon and Barbara Fahy who had taken over the ownership of the mare.

Biggest race you've won?
Southland Oaks Final 2010 with Jumpforjoy and
Wyndham Cup and Robin Dundee Crown.

Editor's note: Barron won both these races in 2004 with classy Road Machine mare, Joyfulbelle. She won the Wyndham Cup in 4.09 running her last 800 metres in a smart 56.4 beating Padraig and Molly Magee.

Editor's note: Desperado was another instant success for Clark Barron. He took over the training of the maiden gelding from I S Sutherland and won with him first up at Ascot Park in December 1990.

Editor's note: As a three year old, Retail Therapy won a heat of the Alabar Southern Supreamcy Stakes an $11,000 for the Barron stable.He finished 7th in the 2006 Supremacy Stakes final won by Looksaflyer.Then sold to the North Island Stable of J T Peary, he has won 4 more races.
